Nick Scholl

I enjoy working at Advocate Access NW because I get to be part of building a stronger support system for Members in our community. I value the opportunity to help connect people with the right supports and to collaborate with others who share the same commitment to advocacy and care. I also enjoy the activities and programs we offer through Advocate Access NW, as they create meaningful opportunities for connection and engagement. I’m especially excited to help develop new clubs and opportunities in the future so we can continue creating spaces where people feel supported, included, and empowered. Together, we can build a stronger community and a brighter future for those who need it most.

My philosophy is if we make the lives of the people we give services to better, it will improve their lives and make them more independent; and maybe they too can make the community a better place! Our DSPs should make their clients' lives better and help them with their independence, teaching them skills that they otherwise wouldn't learn from just anyone.  If we make this more than  a service of merely, "taking care of people who really need it," which is also just one of our biggest purposes of our business, then I truly think we can make an actual difference.

Members appreciate that I am thoughtful about the people and supports that help strengthen our community. I enjoy creating activities and clubs that give people opportunities to connect, have fun, and feel included. I’m someone who listens, collaborates, and works to find ways to make things better for the people we serve. My goal is to help create a welcoming environment where everyone feels supported and part of the community.
