Meet Candy!

We are thrilled to have Candy Applebee-Anderson as our Senior Positive Behavioral Support Advocate here at Advocate Access NW! Candy brings warmth, experience, and a truly personalized approach to her work. She’ll be:

  • Writing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Creating Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)
  • Providing ongoing support to individuals and their teams

What makes Candy’s support different?

  • She meets people where they’re at — in their routines, in real life, without long or stuffy meetings.
  • She’s local to Columbia County and always happy to meet in person!
  • Her focus is on real-world, meaningful observations that make supports actually helpful.

  • I will always respect an individual’s or family’s lived experiences and personal goals.
  • I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals with acute behavioral health and developmental disabilities on various multidisciplinary teams. My roles on those teams have included being a Care Coordinator and a Therapist.
  • I love obnoxious reality TV, the color pink, Animal Crossing, and must have coffee to function. I’m super excited to get to know you all.
