Accessing services from a Direct Support Professional (DSP) begins with a referral. You have some options to initiate the process. Please read below to explore these options. Always feel free to contact us if you have questions or need further assistance.
With your permission, your case manager will share information with us to help us get to know your needs and preferences for support. We will review your support plan documents and ask you questions to ensure we fully understand what you need. You may already have a support worker identified. If not, the best part comes next!
Finding the right DSP is crucial not only for meeting your support needs, but also for building a meaningful and positive relationship. Our goal is to ensure that you are served well while fostering a strong, trusting, and enjoyable relationship with your DSP. Together, we can create a supportive and enriching environment tailored just for you.
The enrollment process allows you to understand your rights and what to expect from Advocate Access NW services. Together, we will create a personalized safety plan that your DSP will follow to help you achieve your goals and engage with your community. Once the enrollment process is complete, it's time to get started and make great things happen!
