Everyone needs help in different ways. Attendant care provides support with the kinds of activities people engage in each day to take care of themselves, their homes, and their health. Attendant care supports someone to live more independently in their community.
Getting out and connecting in the community is a big part of a meaningful life. Staff at Advocate Access NW will make sure that things like grocery shopping, joining a club, and having fun at a new event are within easy reach by providing transportation with our attendant care services.
An important part of great support is making sure the people normally providing care have the chance to take some time to rest and recharge. Relief Care is short-term home care for one or more full days so everyone can bring their best for the people they care about most.
We can all use tools to work through challenging situations. Behavior support can be an important part of developmental disability services. A Behavior Professional can create support plans and train staff to meet unique needs so that each person can live their best life with independence, dignity, and respect.
Please let us know how you'd like to join us in our mission, whether you're looking for a home care DSP or want to become one. We're in the lead up to opening our doors, and want to make sure there's a place waiting for you!
Advocate Access NW will offer highly competitive wages, great benefits, but most of all, a strong community of support. If you're passionate about adding value to your community, join us as a DSP and make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

This dynamic group is doing great things in Columbia County! It's a place where all voices are heard and real action takes place. In its first amazing effort, the I/DD Advisory Council oversaw a large grant for emergency preparation, ensuring that community members have materials and knowledge to respond to emergencies. Visit the I/DD Advisory Council's Facebook page by clicking the button below or click here or use the QR code to join as a Champion of the Council! Whether you are someone who experiences a disability, a family member, or a direct support professional, joining the Council will give you an opportunity to make connections with likeminded individuals who have the same vision. Monthly meetings take place in St. Helens and virtually.
